about Chika Ito
Chika Ito is an artist who makes ink and paint from things you can eat.
Her research about safe printmaking ink led her to this journey of making colors from starches,
vegetables and fruits, spices and more. She has been exhibiting her work internationally
and given many workshops at international Printmaking conferences and other institutions.
She is one of the three co-founders of Flatto81,
a sustainable multidisciplinary project based in The Netherlands.
